FAQ's About T-shirt Painting

  • How long does the t-shirt take to dry? Because the paint is applied with our unique paint dabbers the t-shirts air dry very quickly – maximum 1 hour. Pop them on a warm radiator, outside on the washing line to air dry or on a clothes horse.
  • Can you you can speed up the drying time? Yes! Give them a quick blast with hairdryer and it’s done in minutes.
  • Does the paint wash off? No, the fabric paint dabbers are permanent – who would want to wash off their amazing designs once they are done!
  • How do you fix the paint? Place an old tea towel or greaseproof/baking paper over the design and using a hot iron, move it over the design for a few minutes.
  • Can you machine wash? Yes, we recommend a low temperature 30 degrees, short wash. Or hand wash.
  • Will the paint run? No, the paint colours do not run.
  • What type of fabric paint is this?  A water based paint that is designed for children and vegan.
  • Can you use the fabric paint on other material?  Yes, it works best on 100% – great on sweatshirts and calico material bags.
